Louise Agnani – When I started studying the Baroque repertoire on historical instruments, I found a big key to looking for the expression and meaning of the music I play. I didn’t have to submit to that anonymus ideal of a perfect performance on my cello, but could rather have the joy of using the different musical elements to express the music and tell the story. In this way I find meaning and presence, and perhaps I also may convey something in the present moment on my cello, my baroque cello or my viola da gamba.
